Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 7, 2017

This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Preminger Technologies LLC, doing business as Farefetch ("Farefetch", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use our website(s), mobile application(s) and other online products and services (collectively, "Services") or when you otherwise interact with us. Terms used in this Privacy Policy with initial letters capitalized that are not otherwise defined herein will have the meanings given to such terms in the Farefetch Terms of Service.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide notice by revising the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with more prominent notice (such as by sending you an email notification or providing notice through the Services). We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy whenever you access or use the Services or otherwise interact with us to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.

Collection of information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you use the Services to create an account, submit fare requests for future airline travel (each, a "Fare Request"), purchase airline fares when a Fare Request is fulfilled, register to become a facilitator who is eligible to accept, process and fulfill Fare Requests (a "Farefetcher"), communicate your interest in offering to fulfill a Fare Request, submit an offer to fulfill a Fare Request, submit information regarding how to purchase and book fares requested in a Fare Request, register to receive payments for fulfilled Fare Requests, confirm fulfillment of a Fare Request, fill out any other form or survey, register to receive updates from us, subscribe to a newsletter or email list, participate in any interactive features of the Services, communicate with us via third-party social media sites, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us.

The types of information we may collect from you include:

  • Account Information, such as your name, email address, password, phone number and any other information you choose to provide. Note that, if you register to become a Farefetcher, we will request and collect your preferred method of receiving payments from us for your fulfillment of Fare Requests as well as information associated with your preferred payment method (such as the email address we should use to send payments to your PayPal account or other similar account).

  • Travel Information, such as information about the airline fares you would like to purchase through the Services, including your departure and arrival cities, your dates of travel, your preferred travel times, your air carrier preferences, the type and number of fares you would like to purchase and the total amount you would like to pay per fare; and information about the passengers who will use such airline fares, including the legal name (as it appears on the passenger's government-issued photo ID), gender and date of birth of each passenger.

  • Transaction Information, such as information regarding the Fare Requests you submit or fulfill through the Services. For Purchasers, this information may include, but is not limited to, your air carrier preferences, your payment information (such as credit card number, expiration date and security code), and the airline fares you purchase when your Fare Requests are fulfilled by a Farefetcher. For Farefetchers, this information may include, but is not limited to, the information you submit when you communicate your interest in offering to fulfill a Fare Request, the information you submit in your offer to fulfill a Fare Request, the information you submit regarding how to process and book the Fare Request, and any other information about the Fare Requests you fulfill.

Please note that we do not ourselves collect or store any payment information you submit through the Services (such as information about your credit card, debit card or other payment method); rather, we work with various third party vendors, including a third-party payment processor, who receive the payment information you submit through the Services automatically and then store and use that payment information to process payments for purchases you make through the Services.

  • Other Information You Choose to Provide, such as when you participate in a survey, contest or promotion or use interactive features of the Services, or when you request technical or customer support.
